I was getting tired of being cooped up in my studio staring at still life arrangements day after day. On Wednesday, I decided to get some fresh air. I ambled at my usual haunt--Green Spring Gardens Park. Then on the way to a nursery to buy some pansies, I noticed pretty autumnal trees at a nearby public golf course. After parking my car at their parking lot, I began to take a walk along the narrow path outside the course.
A young jogger with two black labs begged her pardon from behind; we exchanged smiles; she and her canine companions ran past me. Lo and behold, I saw a painting material in front of me! I just happened to have a camera in my hand, so I took a couple of shots. You wouldn't believe how happy I was to have the encounter!
